Crocheters Thread

Pics
Sort of been lurking around this thread for quite a bit  But I love to crochet, and seeing everyone else's amazing creations!
Here are two of my most recent things I made with some extra yarn I had:

The top one is supposed to be a jellyfish, and the bottom is obviously a turtle :p

LOL, when you said "for your friends porch goose" before, I legitimately thought you meant your friend has an actual goose that hangs out near their porch. I was wondering how the goose will feel wearing it and whether the hat will fall off and get destroyed by the angry goose, and then I saw this and I was like oh.
So I've learned that having a porch goose is a real thing 😂

Not necessarily a real thing. Just since this is a chicken keeping forum I assumed that your friend has a goose who patrols their front door, lmao. I have never heard of or seen those ceramic porch geese, so I thought it's a real goose:gig

I finished the Moo Moo Meadow cows for the grandkids the day before our flight! The cows were actually finished before, but I wanted to make a Luigi (and Waluigi) costume for my grandson’s since I made a dress for my granddaughter’s. So that’s what got done at the last minute. That was Friday and I just now remembered I hadn’t posted it.

Oh, that photo was from before the hats got finished. I will try to track down where my grandson put them to get a photo. The “L”s were kind of difficult.

Yeah. I intentionally made the stitches as tight as humanly possible to make one perfect little amigurumi. I think if I made stitches a bit looser and still used yarn under my wrist won't hurt anymore. So I tried that on this little possum today and sure enough my wrist didn't hurt.
I agree! I have found that sometimes my whole right hand goes numb when I crochet. But if I use the next size up hook and make a point to do looser softer stitches, that doesn’t happen.

I DID IT 😭 :celebrate

I finished the second doll, and now these lovelies are ready for Christmas tomorrow! I hope my daughters love them!!

On an unrelated note, what do you do to fix/prevent arm and wrist pain from crocheting? 😅
