Crooked beak

Hi i have a 10wk old pullet and her top beak is off to the side. It looks like the bottom beak sticks out too far and the top cant lay correctly. Does anyone know if i can trim the bottom? She seems to eat ok and she is the same size as the others. Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like scissor beak, which is often genetic. It can often be managed, you will need to monitor the bird to make sure food and water intake is good and weight is maintained. Here are a couple of links with info and pictures for comparison, you can search for more.
