I have a light Brahma that has had a large crop for a few days now, but I just noticed that she now has troubles standing/walking and is trembling slightly.

I’m wondering if she has an impacted crop, but when I feel it it’s squishy and full, not hard like a rock.

Trembling may be due to being cold because she is standing around, but it’s over 40 degrees today which is warm for us.

If anyone has ways to help I’d appreciate them asap. Thanks!

Do you have a picture? It sounds like she may have a sour crop or the beginnings. Be sure to not mash on her crop, since it can cause contents to come up in her throat. Check her crop each morning before she has any food or water. Don’t give any whole grains or seeds, but just some very very watery feed and egg. Get some Monistat 7 or miconazole cream to give her orally twice a day. Here is a good article on treatment of crop disorders:
