It’s just the naked neck. I butcher my birds and this still creeps me out XD

Okay, so in almost all poultry, the crop is located on the bird's right side, so would it surprise any of you if I told you have one that's crop is on the left?

Ok, after breakfast... so they aren’t as stuffed as at night, here are some pics obtained with mealworms and at great risk to my fingers... (one of my Marans hens actually jumped up and bit the back of my non photographing hand that had the jar of mealworms!)

Yes that lump on my barnvelder is his crop! Little piggie!
