Crop question

My chicken has now progressed (?) from a suspected impacted crop to a suspected sour crop. Over the past three days or so the crop has changed (after being treated with oil and massage multiple times ) from a hard tennis ball size to a soft squishy golf ball size that just doesn't empty overnight. Her appetite is also very minimal, and stool is green & very liquid.

I have withdrawn food, and am offering only water with ACV (I tablespoon per gallon). However, she is not drinking at all. I am considering syringing some of this treated water into her throat. (I've been doing it with oil, so am not concerned about the actual process).

Is this is good idea - if so, how much and how frequently? i was considering 2 cc every two hours.

I think that would be ok. Chickens drink a lot of water so I would just keep an eye if doesnt seem like enough give more. You can probably get some nystatin for the yeast if you have a vet you use. I dont think its very expensive. The ACV will work but the Nystatin might be faster. If the impaction doesnt clear up in the next few days you might consider surgery. There is a really good post on here on how do it just use the search box if it comes down to that.

If it's sour crop then you will need an anti-fungal med. I am going through this with one of my hens right now. Vet wrote a script for Nystatin and she takes 3ml every 12 hours.
