Crop wont empty

Poor sweet baby. I'm really annoyed with that vet. That doesn't seem right to me... you would think a vet would want to help, not just put her down and refuse to do tests. Keep us posted!

Tundra Fang-for sour crop, i got the 7 day miconazole and squirted half an inch into her mouth for a week or five days.

I bought some cream with miconazole in it and gave her some with water. I ordered medistatin from a pigeon supply website but it won't be here for a few days. I can buy coconut oil tomorrow as well.

I use the cream. Hopefully if this is her main problem, then she will start to improve.

I've got some good news, her crop emptied a bit last night and she seems more alert. There was enough room to get a bit of food into her and I gave her some coconut oil. I'm about to give her a bath to get the gross stuff off her beard. She's been following me around the house all morning instead of crying for me on the couch so I think she's feeling better.

I'm about to give her a bath to get the gross stuff off her beard. She's been following me around the house all morning instead of crying for me on the couch so I think she's feeling better.

If it’s sour crop, I’m not sure what coconut oil will do. The miconazole
will fix her sour crop.

I'm glad the crop emptied a little. Since you have started the Miconazole, I would continue with that twice a day for 7 days. Don't stop treatment even if she seems "better" you want to finish it.
@6BeachChicks is right, The coconut oil won't hurt anything, you can give that in addition to the Miconazole, I usually do, but coconut oil alone won't treat the yeast infection.

I love that! That's great news! I always want to bring my chickens inside but my husband thinks they will poop everywhere. So glad she is feeling better!
