I was wondering how the crop should feel and function like in the mornings and at night and during the day. My chicken has some doughy remnants of food in her crop every morning, but it hasn't turned sour and she's had it for like a week. We thought she had doughy crop and she did and we gave her lots of oil and scrambled eggs and the infection started to go away, but she still has doughy remnants left in her crop every morning. Her crop is also watery during the day, but we experimented by taking away her water for like an hour and giving it back because she was just drinking water all day. So just wondering. THIS ISN'T AN EMERGENCY!!! I have an old thread and no one is responding so I decided to make this one. My chickens are like my children so I love them very much and I am a freak about their health. Thanks so much!!!
