Cross breeding?

Hi all.
So my coop will soon be filled with many breeds of chickens. I know I will have a lot of Roosters so I was wondering, are chickens able to be cross bred?

Of course. I have two different breeds of game chicken in my flock and it shows. Sure we have lots of colored babies, but we have at least three white in each batch. You can also find lots of people on here that have cross breeds.

I'm incubating some mutts now! Buff orpington roo over barred rock hens. This combo makes sexlinks! All the females will be dark brown/red and the boys will be black with white patches at hatching. Cool stuff!

I have 10 mutts right now. Just wish I could figure out what they might be crossed with.

Here is my RIR x BO cross... It's a mean snot and made another chick bleed, so it's in chick jail for a few hours.
