I have a pullet who has a weird beak. I also also got a new bantam today who has a Crossbeak. Any tips on trimming their beaks?

I get quite a few hens that reach 9 or even 10. They are farm hens so tough old birds. Susan was part maran part something else. And often times, the cross beak is not the only genetic issue. Often times these are not real long lived birds because of other genetic issues that you can't see.
I am very impressed with the above posters 9 year old cross beak. My experiences have never had them succeed like that.
I'd really suggest using an emery board and filing it back vs clipping. It obviously got clipped too short on the bottom and the edges on the top should be smoothed out and rounded off.I don’t have any pictures of the pullets beak and I only have a picture of the bantams beak after trimming.
