Crossing a Dark Brahma with Barred Rock?

Has anyone ever tried crossing these two breeds before? I have a dark brahma roo and barred rock hens....thought I might see what happens next spring if we try and incubate some eggs. Ideas on how to proceed?

if you cross your Brahma roo to Barred hens, you will create sex links, the roosters will come out looking Barred and the hens will come out looking black
