I did start a thread a while back, that is a bit slow, asking about an official meet, perhaps in one of the hotels. It's so hard to meet during the show, when everyone's buying birds, or networking.

Check it out here:

I know there was a casual meet-up time at the Ohio National, but it was sparsely attended for as many people were at that show. That's why I suggested something after hours.

Hi Crystal, there should be alot of Buff Orpingtons out there, I know there are plenty of people from the UOC that will probably have some for sale.

LOVE the feather legs lol

Is anyone, that lives near Bristol VA/Tn, going to Crossroads? Im looking for someone that would be willing to bring back 4 bantams for me. They are adults, one male and three females.
Thanks
Danny

Hi Tammy:)
Yeppers! Gotta see the banner I did. Saw the pics of the one that went to Marge, looks fantastic (if I can pat myself on the back)and donating a painting to the club to go towards the juniors (silkies). Im going to miss that painting, I have it hanging on the wall and my eyeballs see it everytime I come into the house. Anywho I've got about twenty silkies marked down to go. AGH, if they their condition is right. Mostly aov's. The others, standard varieties Im calling my official class fillers, Bwahahahaha. That way if they make the cut(s) or even place I will be thrilled:) And weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Don is booked to sit at the table.
Are you bringing birds? How about seramas:) I heard you were donating time for the table. I think thats terrific!

David & I are coming up to watch, learn, meet some more of you and hopefully bring back a few nice birds!!!! We are not showing, and this is only 5 hours from our place outside of Nashville...
We are booked at the Marriott listed in the show premium. This will be our first big chicken show. We have shown our dogs for over 30 years, but this is a whole different ballgame!!
Looking forward to meeting as many of you as we can!!! BTW- We have Ameracaunas in Silver & Wheaten, a LF Lemon Blue Cochin Rooster, and we are keeping our fingers crossed on a batch of Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock eggs that are in the incubator on day 9...So we have a wider range of interest. We are trying to narrow it down to one or two breeds to focus on for showing and breeding, and the rest as our yard candy/ spoiled pets!!!
