but being a first time chicken owner I am having a hard time trying to figure this out. I got 5 day old females of all different breeds at the end of May. My “girls” are 14 weeks old now and I heard someone crowing this morning. I thought I’ve heard it before but today I was positive. I’ve been researching how to tell a rooster from hen and it’s so ambiguous! Can anyone tell what I have based on my pictures? I’m getting suspicious that I may have a few Roos! My buff has been displaying some definite dominant traits so I’m pretty sure she is a boy. But I’m still unsure about the others. Thank you for your help!

What a beautiful flock! :love Based on those tail feathers and large comb and wattles, the only bird that looks like a cockerel is your Buff. Pullets can get mouthy too, especially when they start laying. Good luck & Have fun!!!!
Thank you! They are all so sweet and fun to watch. It’s the tail feathers that are throwing me off on some of them. They are starting to look long and curved. My Easter Egger occasionally will try to charge the buff but quickly backs down. So that behavior seems suspicious. But I honestly have no idea what is normal since it’s my first time. I appreciate the help.
