Now THATS FUNNY!!!!

There is nothing as enduring and as beloved by the government as a bad idea. A friend tells me you can be arrested for illegal possession of a chicken in Cuba. If you try to alleviate your family's hunger by raising a few birds, your are in trouble. You are an exploiter, a capitalist. All of Cuba must starve equally. Of course if your family sends you dollars from abroad, everything changes.

The same probably holds true in the Peoples' Republic of Massachusetts.

I can't wait until my wife has to register her eight cats with NAIS.

SpottedCrow - I feel for you. I would be SO MAD. But I think I would ignore it like everyone said. Play dumb. I only have 2 hens also. (BTW I'm also a twin!) Our local councilman decided nobody in our town can have birdfeeders in their backyard because his wife is afraid of disease from vermin that would be attracked to the birdseed spill!

What's going on here? We have to stop this ridiculousness (word?) on the lower spectrum before it goes to big government. We can't ignore stuff like this. It's bad enough from what farms have to put up with let alone regular small folks like us.

I just stumbled upon this topic. My, my...do I smell some right-wing paranoia here? Next thing you know, we'll all be required to get polio shots...

I'm sure glad I live in the 'simple south!" I'm sitting on the veranda, thinking about stuff, when Maxim(my companion scarlet macaw,)shrugs his wings, cocks his head, stares at me straight in the eye and just about that moment when I am ready to say something about NAIS,he cackles,"Shaddup Man!"

All y'all take care!
