We always take one breed at a time, or related breeds on rare ocassion.
We have struggled with the SOP thing in every single unit of CSU since the beginning. The APA does not grant, as Walt stated early on, permission to whole sale copy their copyrighted material with rare exceptions.
At a true University, whether undergrad or grad school, it has always been my personal experience that the professors provide a required text list in advance of the class and students are expected to purchase or secure such texts.
The SOP is simply the fancier's handbook, the text, if you will, for this University. Students are highly and strongly urged to demonstrate their serious commitment to this study of the breeds and this can be demonstrated by simply getting the book. Apologies to all who think this posture is too strongly stated, but this is a university level thread and has been one since its inception. This is not primarily a trivial or fun little tread, filled with chat chat nor intended to be a thread where there is unlimited empathy with those who do not wish to do work, study or gain understanding at this level.
If even this post strikes a discord with you, then we would urge you take no offense, for none is taken nor any intended. This is the university. Get the text. We will not, as has been stated earlier, condone violating of the APA copyright to the materials, even if such posting is "borrowing" and re-posting from another website where the (likely stolen) material may be found.
Hope that clears the air a bit.
