oh wow a chicken party? can anyone come? Do you have to have chickens to sell to come or can you just come to look and buy? I only know one other byc person. that is beth g. she is so nice and has really nice birds.

Please come!! Everyone is welcome. Even our next door neighbors are stopping by (they looove our chi... err..free eggs).

PM me what town you are coming from and I'll send you directions. GPS's tend to lead you to a one-way street going the wrong way.

Have a nice get away

Hey, gang

Im away for the couple of days, so if you are looking for directions or anything, I will get back to you Sunday night or Monday. Have a great weekend!

Hi everyone! I am new to all of this and would love to come- I have to check my sons baseball schedule! If we can make it I will repost with how many and what we can bring- I would love advice, tips, etc.. we just hatched some barred rocks- 4 have hatched and one still working on it! One I think did not make it- I can see the chick through the crack and see no signs of breathing like the others were.

There are also two eggs that have not cracked yet-could they just be late bloomers? I was wondering if anyone might have rhode island reds- chicks or hatching eggs? We really want to get 4 or 5 of them to put with our new chicks. we can not have roosters either, so if anyone is interested in giving one or two a home let me know- I am in Southington. If I am reading the markings right I think we have 2 of each right now but not positive! I really hate to do things through the mail again. Any tips would be great and I hope we can make the party!

My husband and I are going to come, but we can't get there until after 12:00 IF he has to work (but I don't think he will). So we were planning on bringing a banana cake, but it seems like we will have lots of desserts, so how about some tortilla chips with homemade salsa or maybe watermelon....that way whatever we don't eat the chickens can enjoy! Can't wait to meet everyone! Hey maybe everyone can bring a few pictures of their coops and chickens!
