Thanks Gallo, that is perfectly clear to my old brain!..stan

Well, I never let ya'll know that I did receive those birds from Wood&Feathers, but I did, and here they are. I know these may not be much more than an eyesore to you guys but besides the SOP they have really proved to be great birds and the stag in particular has proved a worthy representative of the breed, I find him a very beautiful bird and with good personality.

Sorry for the bad pic. of the hen, she never stops!

Actually they look far better in these pictures. Not perfect but much better looking than original pictures led me to believe. I'm glad you like them and good luck!!

after looking at these pictures, i think they look pretty good and should be bigger and better as they mature.

my youngest white pullet layed her first egg today. i have f2 cuba/thai grades hatching today and broody hen should hatch tomorrow or the next day.

Cool. This hen has just started on a nest, about four eggs. I think I'm going to let her go broody. My Asil hen has a brood she's caring for now. I'll eventually post some pics of them on UFF.

Glad they have settled in for you fowlsessed. That cockerel looks like his tail has already improved a lot! I never saw any signs of the others plucking him (they never could catch him), but it must have been happening. He was born first week of July, the hen a week later.

I have one asil hen sitting a clutch of 7 eggs. That thick heavy beak is pretty intimidating on a broody.
