Cubalaya Thread For Sharing Pics and Discussing Our Birds

Tonight I was introduced to the Cubalaya and I am very intrigued by them. I was speaking to a gentleman on Facebook about how I would love to add a rare breed to our farm for the purpose of breeding in a few years when we buy our bigger land. We are in Alabama where we get 100 degree summers and 30 degree winters, as well as a good bit of rain.

I will be reading through all the history on the post but I wanted to say hello first.

Hello! You will find excellent information here. Members are more than willing to answer questions. They are an extremely versatile breed. They do very well in our humid, hot Kentucky summers and snowing winters-extremely hardy birds.
