I have been looking over my 6 week old SH Cubas and had a couple questions. I have a white pullet with quite a bit of yellow in it. Does that get worse, better or the same as they age? Also, I have a Pyle pullet with a very upright tail does that improve with age? Thanks.
can you post some pics of them so we can get a little better idea of the look but at 6 weeks alot can change but some stuff will stay the same or worsen
i have had yellow chicks turning white and gray chicks turning white. not knowing your line i would say it will probably be white. if the pyle is still holding her tail up at 8 weeks then it will probably be above horizontal
As Zach stated you can't tell anything about a 6 weeks old chicken. Wait until they are 7 to 10 months to make a determination on color. Chickens will moult 3 times by adulthood.
These boys and a white pullet were born in late June. The pyle was from an egg from Chris - he is huge, but his comb looks like a cushion or strawberry? The fellow behind him is a cubalaya/black jap grade.
