It does not yet have a name. We've been calling it mottled/spangled although it is neither of those, especially on the roosters. The hens do look mottled, so I guess it would be mottled, albeit poor mottling.

Their temperament is amazing. Even as chicks, they seem more intelligent than anything else I here. I considering paring my layer flock down to the bare minimum to make room for more.
