Troyer, thank you for recommending this thread. you have some beautiful birds. As I mentioned in the other thread. I recently purchased, wheaten cubalaya bantams from Cackle hatchery. They will come in, in the middle of August. I am really excited about getting them, and look forward to learning as much as I can from this thread.

I finally found my thread again. I am down to 2 colors of Cubalayas: whites and blues. Just sold my black flock. May work on self blue or lavender

You essentially still have blacks represented in the blues. Statistically 50% blues, 25% splash and 25% black. They look good.

I finally found my thread again. I am down to 2 colors of Cubalayas: whites and blues. Just sold my black flock. May work on self blue or lavender

Do you mind sharing how you'll make the self blues?
