Cuckoo Maline x CCLB offspring

Belgian Malines are a cuckoo breed. Not technically autosexing but people with the breed can generally tell male from female at hatch because males have two cuckoo genes which makes them lighter in color than the females that only carry one.

if you crossed a Maline on a Created Cream Legbar would the resulting chicks not also be the same (male two copies, female one) and

As far as I know, they would still sex like your Malines (boys having two barring genes, girls having one) with either the CCL roo x Malines hen, or Malines roo x CCL hen. I'm pretty sure all of the chicks first generation would be all black barred : D

My Legbar roo x Dominique hen's offspring sorted themselves out pretty quickly...

I would assume your chicks would be similar. It's a small sample size so far, but all of my males of this cross have not only had head spots, but also blotchy yellow spots on their backs from Day 1
