Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

How lovely! Slightly envious  Its really trying to green up here!

I'm just crossing my fingers that I get to actually enjoy some of the fruits of our labor. We've been working on the "food forest" for years and haven't really had a whole lot to show for it. Wildlife gets a percentage, pests, etc. but they weren't producing this much before either so I'm hopeful!! I feel like we need more production in our yard with all this crazy virus stuff going on right now too!

I know what you mean. It doesn't seem to be the year to skip the garden. But, I just feel if I do some things to improve the soil this year, I will have more success next year. My answer might be a green house. Hmmm....that would have to be after the coop build, hardwood floors, and kitchen remodel. :lau DH is probably sorry he retired this year. :gig

I'm trying SO hard to be patient with my husband myself because he wasn't feeling well and he hurt himself. I won't push him but at the same time we have a ton of projects I would like to just tinker with a little every day until they're done...he sure looks like he's feeling better. :gig

I know how you feel. I don't push either. DH has worked very hard in his life (30 yrs in Navy) but these last 8 years he has worked in a training position traveling and teaching 6 day a week most weeks. So, I think he deserves a break. :love I just get excited about the possibilities. :D

We have wildlife problems here too. The deer sure love the apple orchards. Good for you not giving up on it! I hope they start producing for you!

Progress is being made on the coop!!!
