Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

@Meg-in-MT Thank you copied it to word I save recipes to my documents
I will try this next week may do it with pulled beef or chicken or pork
lot's of options tomatillo and roma blended instead of tomato sauce
Let me know how it turns out, Penny! I'd like to switch it up, as well :)

I lived in So Cal for 40 years, and in my early life ventured into Mexico. It used to be safer than it is now. I love all kinds of food, but Mexican is one of my top 3 anyway. I'm always ready to try a new recipe even if it's something I already make. And when I can get a quick one for those busy days when we're exhausted, even better. For your recipe I would usually have those ingredients on hand.
I've never been to Mexico or California! Do love Mexican type foods though. I make these a lot because I always have the ingredients on hand. Quick and easy recipes are the bomb.

Hey Meg try the tomatillo's and roma's but blend them smoked paprika adds great flavor also
Going to have to say goodnight early out tomorrow to get our own car back..
We hate the rental but have to take boxes and two birds in to auction to get rid of them

I love smoked paprika. Like to use it in homemade taco seasoning. I will have to try the tomatillos/Roma blend. Tried to grow the former a few years ago, but I think you need two plants.
