There are two Lavender Orpingtons in front of Pippi. That is Alice and Abby. Here's a photo of the LO cockerel I have.

He is pretty clumsy and overbearing with the girls, so he doesn't get to hang out with them often. Plus, Pippi is clearly the dominant, and I'm always afraid Mad Hatter (the LO) will get hurt.

Gorgeous! I love the look of LOs. I really wish I would have gotten one with this batch of chicks. Maybe next time

I live my lavender Orpingtons! They are just now 6 weeks old and out in the big coop with the silkies! When I go out there they follow me around like I’m their momma!

They really are a sweet breed. And they just get more beautiful with time. They have eyes like an Australorp, which is so pretty against their light lavender grey feathers.
