Good morning! (If you can still call it that.) I haven't gotten into the swing of coming in here yet. I didn't for so long.

Thanks for the coffee @sourland . I needed another cup.

@pennyJo1960 I haven't been into FB for years. I think all the social media is a waste of time, except this one, of course. This one is fun!

Boy, do I ever understand the reticence to leave for a couple weeks. Don't think I could do it. Too much to leave behind, Will the "babysitter" really understand how special my chickens are? Will she give them treats twice a day? Will she make sure all 12 waterers are full and clean? Will the coop get cleaned every day? And that's not to mention my dog and munchkin cat who must have even more attention every day. Oy!

So, I hope you have great care of your critters while your gone, and I hope the trip turns out to be a wonderful experience. After all, it's Hawaii! Does it get better than that? I think we can surprise ourselves at how much fun we can have if we just make ourselves do it. :D

Maggie is at the boarding kennel and someone that we know will come in to care for the beagles. I still worry. Boarding kennel is aware that Maggie has seized - she's on phenobarbital - they have the cell phone # of my vet - I still am concerned.
