I am toast today. I've got an 11 yr old Maltese dog with Congestive Heart Failure and on Lasix. He wakes me up 3 times a night to go outside along with peeing in the bed. This has been going on for a week now and I am exhausted. I am way to old for all this, but I love him so much and will do what ever it takes to keep him happy and comfortable.

That is so sad, indeed. I hope his system calms down a bit and water isn't running through him so fast soon. I'm not sure if Lasix levels out once the excess water is shed or not, but I hope so. Big hugs for Lollie!!!

Thanks Meg. Not yet. I can't quit this one so I'm stuck until next month. I'm working on my resume though. I just want to work in a nursery sometimes, but then I think about summer...

Thanks Valerie! I am hoping once his initial pee off happens he adjusts to the meds and slows down on the water loss. He feels a lot better than he did 2 weeks ago and that is all that matters.

I can imagine outside summer work where you are would be quite rough It would be amazing to work at one, though.

I was hoping for some proper cooking but I see it's dougnuts as usual.
I'll see if I can rustle up something from time to time. I know you must all be watching your waistline.
Here's a tip; watch the hand that feeds the mouth that increases the waistline.
