Love this! Not the fighting really, but catching it on film. It is a lesson to those of us who are thinking about maintaining two roosters and what we are in for. I may keep my two tribes in separate coops and runs.
The powers that be around here are always wrong, unless they are calling for rain. Calling for rain here is like calling for sunshine in San Diego. 90% of the time you're going to be right. So, hopefully yours are wrong today and the storm takes a by-pass around you.

How do you keep roosters from fighting? It's what they do. Shadrach is not making them fight. This isn't a gambling ring with roosters in cages raised to fight to the death. It's spontaneous.

I don’t think anybody would kick him off or I would hope not. If somebody were to report it, that’s their issue and I think the moderators would see that he’s not doing the illegal version and just dismiss it.

The person who trains the forestals ( Park Wardens of sorts) here in tree felling and chainsaw use is a women. She does chainsaw carving as well.

I hear that! Some of us are living in drought conditions, some of us are being hit with snow, and the rest of us are just soggy. What gives?

You did. I did. DH was a lifer in the USN. One of our stations was the NATO Base in Keflavik, Iceland. Beautiful country, lovely people. Lots of art!!! We became art collectors! The draw back was we had to live on the base. No outdoor kitties allowed. I brought my two with me at a whopping cost of $3,400!!! Good thing I didn't have chickens then!!

Way off topic, but I bought another pullet just now. She's a beautiful RIR/NHR cross. I couldn't help myself. I went for grain, and she purred and fell asleep in my arms! this one's a keeper!
