Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

I wouldn't mind another cup of coffee, thanks Val! We just had some breakfast burritos, yum.

Hope Queen V is doing better today!
She is feeling poorly this morning. I gave her a baby aspirin and an antibiotic. I'll check on her again at 8am. I don't just sit out there with her, because she seems to want some peace and quiet. I just go out about every hour to check. Can't wait to hear from the veterinarian and get a clear diagnosis. (As if, right? We're always guessing with chickens!)

Best wishes for her. B vitamins help stimulate appetite. And extra heat is always welcome.

Always guessing...that is so true. I remember the first time I tried to help a sick chicken. I swear every symptom was almost the same for every thing. It's confusing.

Hopefully between the vet and the ER forum, you get some answers.

I have some B vitamins. I'll try that. Thanks!

They are helping, but yes. This could either be a yeast or a bacterial infection and the treatment for each is opposite of the other. I'm really counting on the fecal float test to give me some clues.

Thanks so much for the support everyone!!! I'm sort of brain dead because I'm up all night checking on her. If I say something short, I hope you'll understand. :)
