Fresh coffee on! Homemade Egg McMuffins ready for all who want one.![]()
She is feeling poorly this morning. I gave her a baby aspirin and an antibiotic. I'll check on her again at 8am. I don't just sit out there with her, because she seems to want some peace and quiet. I just go out about every hour to check. Can't wait to hear from the veterinarian and get a clear diagnosis. (As if, right? We're always guessing with chickens!)I wouldn't mind another cup of coffee, thanks Val! We just had some breakfast burritos, yum.
Hope Queen V is doing better today!
Raining here, but I am so thankful we had a couple sunny days! It's remarkable what a little sunshine can do for the soul!Good morning everyone. Sunny again, I love it!
Best wishes for her. B vitamins help stimulate appetite. And extra heat is always welcome. She is feeling poorly this morning. I gave her a baby aspirin and an antibiotic. I have some B vitamins. I'll try that. Thanks!Best wishes for her. B vitamins help stimulate appetite. And extra heat is always welcome.
They are helping, but yes. This could either be a yeast or a bacterial infection and the treatment for each is opposite of the other. I'm really counting on the fecal float test to give me some clues.Always guessing...that is so true. I remember the first time I tried to help a sick chicken. I swear every symptom was almost the same for every thing. It's confusing.
Hopefully between the vet and the ER forum, you get some answers.
