I'm in the habit of just wearing my socks around the house.

Me too! I even buy thick ones for winter to use instead of slippers. It's as close to barefoot as I can get.

I should take a photo of our rain forest. It's very mossy. Have to have roof guys come out periodically to keep it from growing on our house. It's a reality here.
