I love doing that! I call it investment cooking. I have a set of recipes for chicken that I got out of a magazine 20 or 30 years ago that I still make. It is organized to spend a day cooking and end up with 6 different meals that actually make more like 20 meals for us. At least. When I first started doing it, I could buy everything for under $100. Not anymore.![]()
It sure helps speed up dinner time when you can prep ahead! That would be awesome to have that many things ready to warm up later.
One of the things I'm working on are chicken bacon ranch taquitos...make up a big bunch and freeze to pull out a few later. It's a new recipe so hope it's good.
