Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

I love doing that! I call it investment cooking. I have a set of recipes for chicken that I got out of a magazine 20 or 30 years ago that I still make. It is organized to spend a day cooking and end up with 6 different meals that actually make more like 20 meals for us. At least. When I first started doing it, I could buy everything for under $100. Not anymore.

It sure helps speed up dinner time when you can prep ahead! That would be awesome to have that many things ready to warm up later.

One of the things I'm working on are chicken bacon ranch taquitos...make up a big bunch and freeze to pull out a few later. It's a new recipe so hope it's good.

That sounds delicious! I love chicken and I love taquitos, so what's not to love about the recipe? I rarely cook with bacon, but it sounds good.

Good morning, the coffee & tea are ready!

I'm planning on reorganizing my laundry room soon too...I'm also procrastinating. LOL!
We have nice cabinets in the laundry room and I want to switch some things around to keep some of my cleaning supplies in there and not all under my kitchen sink. We're installing a new reverse osmosis filtration system under the the sink and it takes up a lot of space...so the filtration system as well as the new sink and faucet are in my living room. You would think that would be enough of an annoyance to go organize the laundry room. :lau

Instead we got up early and worked on the garden bed for a while. I can't even take much credit, I walked away while my husband was working to look at flower blooms and watch the broody hen running around with her chicks...hahaha

My mother and I have been modifying different mask patterns and we're finally happy enough with some of them to share with others. Still going to keep making changes until we're completely satisfied though.

Thank goodness we were able to find some non woven fabric to sew in it for extra protection. It's the difference between like 5% protection vs 56%. It's double sided, who says you can't be cute during a pandemic? lol, I'm sending this one to a BYC member. ❤

I found an air filter for virus protection from 3M and it is 0.3 microns. That is the microns you need for protection. I bought the filter at Walmart brought it home took it apart and now I can cut it to fit the masks.

Everything bagel with cream cheese and English cucumbers for lunch. Help yourself! It’s really good. :p

That looks really good!

I like to peel cucumbers and grate them then squeeze the moisture out of them. I mix the grated cucumber with softened cream cheese. Then I like to add a drop of green food coloring which makes them really look good. These make good tea sandwiches.

That sounds yummy! I do peel American cucumbers, but not English. The skin is soft on them.

Good morning! Thanks for the coffee Debby! I love it when you get up first and make it!!! :D

That's a great idea! Show us a photo when you get one made, please?
