Wanted to grab another cup of coffee and none left. New pot on!!! Tea kettle is whistling again.

Today will be a great day! No rounding up chickens to check them over, just get to enjoy them. They are all looking really good. New coop run is almost finished! Unfortunately it is raining today, so that makes this job slow. But, happy to be using the coop at least. Life got so much easier with it!!!

Thanks for the fresh pot of coffee Val, I need another cup to get moving

I'm on a mission today. Now that the weather has warmed up, the humongous big old black flies have made a come back. DH got me 3 kinds of fly strips to try out so I'll be fixing them up in the run and by the house doors. Sure hope they work and that I don't end up with sticky fly strips wrapped around my head.

Well, that gave me a good laugh this morning! I can't imagine dealing with those. Nor can I imagine dealing with the flies. We do have flies, but not so many as would be a problem, but mosquitoes are another story. That's what we are constantly fighting in the warm weather. Not that we've had to worry about warm weather much.
