Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

11:15 is late for me, I'm usually falling asleep by 9:30. And sometimes (like today) up at 2am.
I used to be like that, but for some reason, everything has changed since my surgery. I can sleep 8 hours a night for one thing. It used to be 5 or 6. So, I'm still trying to figure out what my sleep needs and timing are.

Also, DH and I have gotten into a marathon watching of a program on Netflix and watch 2 or 3 episodes every night. Unfortunately we don't sit down and begin that marathon until after the chickens are tucked in which is about 8:30 these days.

I guess that's retirement life. We just look at each other and say, "well, we're retired...we don't have to be anywhere in the morning...let's just watch one more." LOL

Interesting how your surgery changed your sleep habits. Sleeping 8 hours a night would be wonderful!

What program are you watching?

Longmire. It started out slow, but it is pretty interesting.

In the beginning, the surgery wore me out, hence the longer sleep. Now it has become habit. Strange, but a welcome change.

They are great at clearing brush!
My neighbor has several and one of them comes up to visit from time to time. She is so sweet, she'll come right up onto the porch. the only bad thing is she also likes to eat my rose bushes and all my hostas. I think each one has a nibble out of it all the way up the walk.:lau
