Have some Ice tea in the fridge like lipton black Never add sugar little lemon some times .. Squash will get slice in long shreds butter salt and pepper baked

Val, I had hubs put a HWC border around the bottom part of the temporary brooder but the wee ones got out anyway. I figure why bother locking them up now, they've been running in and out for a week with no issues.

Good morning everyone! Grabbing the last cup of IM's delisherous coffee, and starting a new pot.

I think it's great, IM, that your littles are hanging out with the bigs. Good for them! Mine are still hanging out at the window. It is 7' away from their heat source. I'm so surprised at how little heat they need or want. Even when I went out to close everyone into the coop last night, they were there at the window. It was already getting dark out. Well, it's summer, so not that cool, but I've been told for so long to keep them warm.

How old are your littles now? Sometimes I think they are tougher than we think.

They are just a week old. I'm so surprised at how little heat they want. I have a mama heating pad in there and they have never gone under it. So, I put a heat lamp in and they aren't hanging out around that either. I'm going to open their window again today and see if they want to come outside.

I'm surprised that none of my hens have taken any interest at all in them.

Wow...I would think a garden would flourish in Florida. Just can't keep enough water on them, I suppose.
