It's not a show per se, just a huge swap and sale. It has been running for decades, people come from at least 5 states.

Wow, that's great! You must sell a lot of birds then. Good for you.

I'm doing good just to take care of my chickens. lol Hatching in an incubator hasn't worked well for me, although I did get Pippi that way, and a few lavenders. This year I just have one broody after another, but so far no chicks. I really think it's because I only have the one rooster now for 19 hens. I had two, but when he started picking on Pippi, he had to go. Pippi is just my favorite chicken. He is the best rooster ever. Just can't keep up with so many ladies.

It's not an auction, big swap and sale. Under normal weather, maybe 10,000 or more people attend!

Good news. I have turned a corner on these shingles and am feeling much better. Still looks pretty bad though.

I've been reading a bunch about this bird flu in Washington. It's a scary thing. My chickens do share water with the wild life, in that they drink river water. We have a river pump and all the water for the grounds comes from that source, but for the house we have well water. It will be easy enough to route some well water to the chickens. I'm so glad I have been made aware of all this via BYC. This is why we should be here.
