Curled toes, Splayed legs on new hatches.

just got my first spraddle chick...one leg only, and the only one of 11 to get it.
I set the temp at 100 and humidity at 45 this time because my other thermometer said it was 95. I'll go by the bator readings next time.
Thanks for the links in post #2. We taped her with a bandaid, and will post updates on her progress. (has to be a girl, too cute to be a boy)

Can you fix crooked toes when they are 12 wks or is it too late?
I have a BR with crooked middle toes. They curl to the side and back.
She does OK.
These were my first chicks (got them as day-olds) and I didn't think to look when I got them.

curled toes are usally fairly easy to fix with just a piece of duct tape. staighten the toes out then stick them to a piece of duct tape (on the bottom of thier feet) folding the edges over the tops of thier toes. Its worked for me numerous times.
