Today we saw "Dog". I was not impressed and will go 2.5 stars. The Princess gives 3.5 stars. I believe she liked the scenery aka Channing Tatum.

Today we saw "Cyrano". 4 stars from both of us. I had never seen Peter Dinklage in anything prior to this movie. He can do more acting with his eyes and facial expressions than most can with words. I was very impressed.

Today we saw "The Outfit". Finally a gangster movie that's worth viewing with more twists and turns than an Agatha Christie play. 4 stars for sure from both of us.

Today we saw CODA - bawdy, funny, emotional - a good story. We both go 4 stars would go higher if the scale went higher. It's a 'must see'. If you only see one movie this year, see this one. The Princess accused me of crying during a father/daughter scene. Y'all know that's not true.

Hello movie goers! I went to see the new Downton Abbey film with my aunty and we liked it much more than the previous one. Various story lines were concluded and it wasn't as self-concious as the first film. Some of the makeup choices were a little odd, Hugh Bonneville had a rather deep tan which was well out of character and they didn't cover it up.

Thumbs up!
