Saw Iron Man 3 for the second time today with my brother. We came about a half hour early and theatre was pretty filled this time - of course it was Sunday and kids home. The movie was a bit easier to take the 2 nd.time. I think because I knew what to expect and wasn't so disappointed. MY brother liked it (not loved it) and said he would give it probably 3 stars. I still didn't tell him I had seen it before.
There was absolutely NO audience involvement -no laughing at sly remarks, No Kids yelling encouragement- very, very quiet like it was a documentary. When I saw Avengers last year - audience was very engaged and vocal. I see the movie has already grossed billions or something across the world. "They" are saying it's because of 'word of mouth.' I don't know about that.
Some gossip holds that this may be the last installment. Robert Downey wants to re-negotiate his contract. We all know what that means.
