Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

ME too!!!! I won't be able to drink anything from the night before, till movie is over, and still it's a risk... :fl hope we both make it
yes. I'll have to have a drink, but I'll stick to water or maybe lemonade or something and steer clear of the caffeine. and probably avoid popcorn as well, if I go to the ordinary cinema instead of the pigout one. It's a shame having to plan not to eat and drink, that's what going to the cinema is often about.

Today we saw, "Victoria & Abdul". An interesting story, and with Judi Dench as Victoria you know it had to be good. Some incredible laughs and a few sad moments, this movie was true entertainment. I'll go a 4 star on this. The Princess gives it a 3 with 4 stars to Dame Judi.
Love Judi Dench, when I had shorter (white) hair, I thought I sometimes, almost, looked a tiny bit like her. Family said nah. What do men know. She is worth going to see in any movie.
I saw the trailer for this. It looks delightful!
I'd like to see it. Judi Dench is incredible.:clap

We still may go see Blade Runner 2049. I never saw the first one, but, accidentally found out all the spoilers in this one. Sounded really interesting, so now I HAVE to see it.
I've caught a bunch of Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling's interviews for Blade Runner. They're a hoot! I'm on the fence. :p

I've seen a couple. Harrison seems really jolly promoting this movie, unlike some of his surly interviews.
It makes me think I want to see this movie...lol. I haven't seen the original. The bit of actual trailer didn't appeal to me...but for the most part, I find it's the movie's with very vague trailers that end up being the best.

Some of the movies with the fantastic trailers that look so amazing...well, that ends up being the entire movie right there...lol. Still sitting on the fence...lol. IF I go...I think we'll have supper early so the bathroom breaks are out of the way. Hopefully, that'll be enough.:fl.:wee

watched several trailers for Thor Raganark or something. Potato Chip help me out here. The reviewers are calling it a comedy.Caught a glimpse of Dr.Strange (I believe) so guess he is in it too. Jeff Goldblume (he is always good) I didn't see Idris at all. In earlier Thor movies he was the guardian of the entrance but, I didn't know him then.

Well I saw Blade Runner 2049 and I enjoyed it. Thanks to the spoilers I inadvertently read about first, I was not confused except for one issue and Ryan Gosling was confused as well.
My brother said he wasn't sleeping through the movie, OKAY but his eyes were tightly closed. Needless to say he felt it was boring and he hated it. Didn't give it any rating at all. So I'd guess 0 stars. I'd give it 4 out 4. My brother has some OCD aspects, and is a logical based person. He doesn't have the imagination to enjoy some movies.

The movie definitely could have been shorter. But I didn't drink anything till we eventually got home and I was okay with it. I wasn't okay with the fact brother wanted something from the concession stand. Because I knew that meant we weren't going to go out for lunch as usual. So I asked if he could just stop long enough for me to pick up a slider and a senior sized pop at Arbys. That ended up being my Sunday meal. Feh!

Oh the movie was also LOUD,should have brought ear plugs.
