Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

We saw "The Darkest Hour" today, but someone else will have to rate it. I forgot my hearing aid, and most of the dialogue was mumbled or muffled by 'Churchill's' cigar. I only heard at best 50 % of what went on. Princess had the same problem, and she remembered her hearing aids. Right now I don't recommend it for the hearing impaired. :lau

oh, no, what a shame. One to watch on DVD, then, so I can replay all the mumbled dialogue (nothing wrong with my hearing, but a lot of shows have people muttering and mumbling and I can't catch what they say. I bought some wireless headphones so I could catch it all. Bring back the "olden days" where everyone spoke BBC english and enunciated very clearly, even when they were on their deathbed :D).

I saw the last Jedi a couple days ago. HUGE thumbs up! Was not disappointed at all, and actually my expectations were surpassed! I know a lot of people were disappointed, but I am not one of them, even as a hardcore star wars fan.

Actually "Mollie's Game," was at our show for one day only (12-22) but I didn't know it.
Movies have to be out (even if very limited showings) before end of this month, in order to be eligible for Oscar nominations. Gee whiz.

I just saw the new Jumanji movie. I liked it. Good story, some laughs, good action. It was entertaining. Won't be getting any oscar nominations, but well done action/adventure flick.

Idris? Starts searching up info about Mollie's Game....:D

I marathoned all episodes of DARK, to be frank it was tied with the Netflix OA series for being the biggest waste of time. I was up till 8:30 am the next day watching all of it.
I don't know how I held on to the end. It wasn't scary it was just ridiculous. Couldn't keep the characters straight, nothing made any sense. Kept waiting for it to get better, make sense anything positive - it never happened.

I definitely don't think I could ruin it for anyone by giving out spoilers. Actually there are none. I can't believe Netflix felt this series was worth showing period.:sick

Think it was 10 episodes or so if you skip some it won't make any difference. I can't get back all those hours I wasted of my life. :rant
