Thank you Tess! I received my saddles today and the girls are looking good!! They fit them wonderful! One didn't mind at all, one tried to out run it and the other tried to back out of it. once they got over that, they went back to free ranging.

Thank you for surprising me with the different colored hearts! It was so fun to see what you had picked for my girls!

OMG that made me laugh so hard I could just picture this chicken running full tilt away from the saddle not being able to figure out why it could keep up to speed with her .

Oh, you are picturing to the T. She was zooming all over the place..under the deck, around the garden, under the coop, back up ad under the deck! She was so funny, meanwhile the other one was laying the the grass like she was dying, then she got up and started walking backward with her chest to the ground. The kids and I were sitting on the deck cracking. The 3rd one just walked along like she didn't even have it on!

I say the circus came to my backyard. Jumping and running.

I have found that putting them on in the evening before bed is easier.
Thanks for posting pics of the chickens. I love seeing them.

Could anyone show pictures on how the hens actually wear these?! I still don't get it!?

Ok... I see how they look on... now how do you get them on them!?!?

I just wanted to say I received my chicken saddles...we call them aprons...and they are the cutest things I have ever seen. They are very, very well made and absolutely adorable. I will be getting more of them. Thanks so much, Karen

Thank you Tess!!!! Saddles arrived yesterday. Still have to put them on. They are really, really cute. I explained to my wife what they were and she laughed hysterically at the thought of it. So hard that my son woke up. Sooo I had to explain to him what Mom was laughing at. He looked at the "aprons' as i called them and asked me what we were going to do with them. So I explained. His 6 yr. old response was "That's crazy, were not putting them on the chickens. We can't dress the chickens up. People will laugh". He did agree that they looked nice and that they would serve a need- eventually, ah the life of a chicken farmer. Thanks again, Keystonepaul

You got those fast! I just mailed them 2 days ago. So glad you like them. Love the feedback. That is funny how your six year old doesn't want people laughing because of them. I have a 6 yr. old girl so I know what you mean. Us chicken farmers have to do what we need to do..
