Good and upset. Predator attacked half of my 24 pullets and 3 guineas, none died, thankfully, but left a lot wounded. Other than that great, and you?No problem!
How are you today?
I'm so sorryGood and upset. Predator attacked half of my 24 pullets and 3 guineas, none died, thankfully, but left a lot wounded. Other than that great, and you?
That's good to hear. Thanks, I need to go home and see if I trapped anything, It happened in the day so I think it's a fisher or mink.. or my neighbors catI'm so sorry
I'm doing okay. Just running the grind of daily life.
Probably an inexperienced mink. That's good to hear. Thanks, I need to go home and see if I trapped anything, It happened in the day so I think it's a fisher or mink.. or my neighbors cat
I wouldn't be surprised, the game commision has been releasing minx and fishers by the sand-pit we live 2 minutes away from to control rodent population.. makes no sense since 95% of the neighborhood has chickens or outdoor animals of some sort. Someone said the predator would most likely be young.. this is why most of my neighborhood puts wood up against the coop doors, those dang critters could fit through a lot of small holes.Probably an inexperienced mink.
I think releasing them so close to backyard flock is plain stupid. I would have a lot of nice furs if someone did that here.I wouldn't be surprised, the game commision has been releasing minx and fishers by the sand-pit we live 2 minutes away from to control rodent population.. makes no sense since 95% of the neighborhood has chickens or outdoor animals of some sort.
