Yeah, I suppose so...I dunno, there's just something that rubs me the wrong way about a guy who raises animals he knows nothing about, and doesn't care to learn, either. Kinda like the 50 ducks in a hot tub guy.

Yeah, i dont like him, but if youve ever watched Ducklunaitic's videos i really dont like that person, since they sell mixed brreed mallards, literally they are selling call duck and mallard mixes(they announced this on their channel) as regular brown or black mallards.

I sell real black mallards which took me forever to breed and get.

The 4 boys. The girls that I buy for the boys keep turning into boys. I seem to have the same thing happen to me as Amy did with Wobbles. It was all girly-lookin' until BAM! Curly feather and voice drop/plumage change. So now instead of having 1 boy and 3 girls, I have 4 boys and 0 girls.

Is this what people mean by "getting all your ducks in a row"?

Yeah I'm picking them out I.n person but the guy I'm getting them from doesnt sex them or even look at the colors , literally all he knows is that he has show quality calls, he built aviaries of 5 acrs for each color and then is done with the birds.

If he knows so little about calls, how can he be so sure that they're show quality?

He isn't showing any mating behaviors yet, but I do worry that I'm gonna go from "mom" to "mate" in his eyes. He's awfully nippy around strangers, and I wonder if it's because he's territorial, or simply hyper-protective of me. But yeah, I do wish I had a girl for him...

Me too!!! So glad I'm not the only one who thought that. My parents were like "Mhmm that's nice honey" when I pointed it out
