I'm trying to stay positive. The one that just hatched had been pipped since Saturday night. Three others were pipped on Sunday morning and aren't reacting to light anymore this morning, but they were late last night. Five others haven't even pipped yetOMG, I know, right?? My calls both hatched on day 28, it was agonizing!

Yes, we have a security camera on the bator, so he's been watching from work. Not the same though. I'm so disappointed it happened this way. I really wanted him to be home when they hatched.Congrats!! Has your hubby realised!?)![]()

This little baby looks so sweet. She's all huddled up next to a foam insert in the back of the bator with her head lying on the insert like a pillow. She's worn out from all the hard work.
I meant has he realised it is an EI?
Ah. LOL. No, it's all curled up at the back and the cam is in the front. I'm not sure he's going to know even when he gets home and sees it, but I'll post what his reaction was![]()
I'm kind of afraid to move either of them this soon since they're supposed to stay in the hatcher right now. There's a third one zipping right now that will probably be out in the next 15 minutesNo, can't say I have. You sure they're fighting? Is the older one doing the "grab-twist-shake" head motion? If you're that concerned you could try to place the new hatch in the brooder, but I know that's awfully risky...
