Abmaddox1981 has set Turkey eggs and has a Broody Silkie with a turkey egg and an EE with 8 eggs!
Tommysgirl has an official Broody, or “B” word!
Cayuse Ranch says the Call eggs that were shipped to TJChickens were Old!
Gardeningmama Prayed over her Call eggs set for hatching and wants us to pray she does not get more chicks at the Chicks night out!
SilkieSensation has BBS Marans hatching, Ducks and Anconas on the way!
Corny Caleb says the Emu Egg is Hatching!

Gryeyes popped in during the emu hatch to update us on BCM eggs to hatch—and Broodies to hatch them!
Emu egg is moving….Still gonna be awhile. The egg hatched early in the evening. There is a video on Ustream.

Melina90 is working on getting the incubator stable. Eggs not set yet. Later in the day the incubator was stable so eggs will be set now!
Ozexpat set Turkey and goose eggs. Chukar will be set on Wednesday.
PAchickenlover’s son cracked an ankle at a skating party!
Ddhyland had an EE chick hatch, the very first! Kismet finished a hatch with a 62% hatch rate!
Sally Sunshine said Some Monday Mornings need a sink of coffee…To get going us going!
Tommysgirl has a second broody! Chicken pickin has one that has not committed…
Happy Chooks announced that we have every type of fowl in the hatch a long!

SoManyHats is prepping the bator and getting eggs ready to hatch! JDchicks is having a egg strike at her place—check for hidden nests! Yoyo with chick is setting under a Broody tonight!
Book asked about where to place the incubator—does it really need to be in a 70 degree stable room? Ronott1 said a quiet place with stable temps is best.

Bhaumesser hopes to be hatching in something other than Styrofoam next year—wants to make a bator out of a motor home refrigerator.
Onlygirloutof6 wants to know if a Guinea Keat set today would be too late to count. Did this get answered? Yes! Happy Chooks says it counts for the hatch a long!

Noncentzter skipped 500 posts, enjoyed time with family, Grandson turned 4 so had a party, Sun was out yesterday so they had too much sun…I am very tired now! What a day that must have been….
We chatted about frogs in the afternoon. Gryeyes thought Gronk was a good name for a Frog. ChickenFox did too and misses having frogs around. LBKS found a frog in a toilette once…
PAchickenlover update: Son still has a swollen ankle and has not seen the Ortho Doc yet. PAchicken lover feels better and has chicks growing out. Critters are hatching soon (ok, ducklings). Welcomes the new hatchers!
Misschickenlitts (if they only stayed little, we would be in less trouble) needs to stop buying eggs to hatch! Busted bators and divorce papers sounds quite dire indeed!
Chicken Pickin eats stuffed cabbage when sick. I need to try that next time I get sick. Mom made it for her so maybe I can get my mom to make stuffed cabbage for me too!
