Random Posting Contest: 3 dates/times were chosen for a free 6-month GFM for each winner.

Cindynkidsd may have a Broody! Later asked if she should put all of the egg under the broody, incubator or split them. Bantambury says to split them!

PAchickenlover has and externally pipped egg! Then chirps were heard—that is a good sign. A chick hatched over night! More hatched during the day so the lonely one has company now! See post 3953 for pictures. Two more hatched in the afternoon (Pacific Time).

AbbyTravers asked for incubation help

Jbenson is day 14 pre hath checking air cells and getting ready for hatching and setting eggs! Lots of hand turned eggs, incubator moved to a quieter place and mason jars for humidity. Later at candling 10 were removed leaving more than 50 to hatch.

Hubby is getting worried!

Gardeningmama’s daughter wants and emu now, thanks to the emu cam. Thanks to Corny Caleb!

Sally Sunshine moved most of the hatched chicks to the Brooder. Nice Hatch!

Austinbndr28 has Dels breaking the eggs! Lots of good suggestions but might need a roll out nest.

LooseyGoosey is getting a lot of eggs from the RSL pullets—Crazy good egg layers.

Wolftracks checked in! Eggs are in lockdown and one has a pip! Even found one alive in the shell prior to tossing in the trash. The ameraucanas, rocks and Marans are not laying!

Gryeyes checked in—Sparkles is Broody again! Her SS roo was smacked up by the gang o boys at the Ranch

so SS’s are off the table. There may be a Crele Penedesenca egg coming though….

LBKS had 28 of 32 hatch! An adjustment to the incubator, lowering the temp slightly, has helped.

Penny Hen is having incubator problems but fixes are being engineered

Abbomaddox said good morning! Eggs are hatching at her place too!

It is the first day of spring! Not for LadyCluck77…snow at their place…

Angelobutter is setting Turkey eggs today. They will still count for the hatch a long since they are being set +\- two days from set day for Turkeys.

Ddhyland is locking down their first hatch ever today! How exciting!

Kismet asked about getting humidity up in the incubator. I told her about the paper towel and sponge trick

Book bought an incubator that plays music! As long as it incubates, Who Cares if it plays music! The music I want to hear is chicks cheeping….
