Daily Duck Egg Report for 2015

Daisy is an Appleyard duck. I've done lots of research and they seem to be on the higher egg production per year scale. Didn't think she'd be making THAT many eggs!! Lol

Peek and Poke each laid another today. That's pretty much nonstop for Peek since we cleared out the brush pile and found all of those eggs from before.

26th consecutive egg today!! Daisy is a machine!!!

Hooray for Daisy!! she's going to need a nice vacation after this maybe a Cruise to the Bahamas?lol

Haha I do pick her up and give her a nice belly rub but the Drake harasses me!! He makes a lot of noise and pecks at me....not sure if he'd let me take her farther than 2' away from him.... And I'm not paying for 2 ducks to go to Bahamas!

1 duck egg today I can see right now there will be no vacation for my girls this year, except Joy she is faithfully giving me an egg a day , she might get to go to Disney world

I could send her and Missy my goose since they both laid today.

My girl layed an egg 2 days ago in minus 25 degree Celsius weather! Not sure how she has the energy but I've got the heat lamp pumping and lots of protein, water and now will need to find some oyster shells! Such a surprise! She's acting very funny and eating every bit of dirt and leaves she can find (is this normal?). I also found a frozen egg today so I will have to look every morning now.

There was lots of ducks in disney when I went! They can be part of animal kingdom!
