Thanks Holly, I will cook to be safe but i guess i won't worry to much if they get an occasional raw one. lol

2 frozen and split duck eggs today.

Cautiously optimistic report: Hazel, our overachiever, has not laid an egg that I can find for three or four days now. And a few of her feathers seem loose. While it is not the best time to molt, I would be loving it if Miss Egg-a-Day would rest for a month or three.

They were my must have breed of ducks. So far they are laying every day. Yesterday 4 duck eggs, today 5 . Plus the chickens are getting going well now too.

That's great they settled in so fast. They sure are pretty. Do you sell your extra eggs?
