Today's Prompt: Music. This can be anywhere from a character listening to or making their own music. They can even be finding the musical rhythm in nature.
Great work AmerMr. and Mrs. Johnson and their ten beautiful children sat around the table, chewing contentedly. Most had finished their first plate and a couple were already reaching for a second.
Mr. Johnson cleared his throat. "Now that we've taken the edge off, I think we should all go around and say what we're thankful for. I'll go first. I'm thankful for my new promotion."
"I'm thankful for all of you children," Mrs. Johnson said. "You've all been so hardworking and helpful in the preparation of this feast."
All eyes went to the next in line. Charlie was still chewing.
"Charlie?" Mrs. Johnson asked.
Charlie tried to chew with his mouth closed and answer at the same time. "I'm thankful for family," Charlie managed, covering his mouth.
"Cop out answer!" Agatha accused.
Charlie swallowed. "Well its true!" he said. "Okay, I'm thankful for this human. It's delicious," he said, gesturing to the food on his plate. "It's the best food known to turkey."
"I wouldn't say that much!" Mrs. Johnson said. "I'm partial to the stuffing, myself."
Fire away!I have an idea for today’s prompt, unless someone else has one ready?
